SIMPLE PAST

Autor: Alexandra Vraciu | 23 comentarios
to cut – cut – cut —> / ʌ /
to put-put-put —> / u /
to drink – drank – drunk
to ring – rang – rung
to sing – sang – sung
to swim – swam – swum
/u – ɪ  ʌ /
to do – did – done
—-> /ɔ:/
to buy – bought – bought
to teach – taught – taught
to think – thought – thought
·                  La alternancia supone el cambio a una vocal corta:
/i:/ —> /e/
to leave – left -left
to meet – met – met
to read – read – read
to sleep – slept – slept
to find – found – found                 /aɪ – au – au /
to hear – heard – heard               / ɪə – ɜ: – ɜ: /
to say – said – said                        /eɪ – e – e /
to sell – sold – sold                      /e – ɒɒ /
to stand – stood – stood          / æ – u: – u: /
to tell – told- told                     /e – əu – əu /
to understand – understood – understood      / æ – u: – u: /
acabados en / t /
to get – got -got                             /e – ɒɒ /
to lose – lost – lost                      /u: – ɒɒ /
to sit – sat – sat                          /ɪ – æ – æ /
/ʌ – eɪ  ʌ /
to come – came – come
/ ʌ – æ - ʌ /
to run – ran – run
—> /d /
to have – had – had
to make – made – made
—> / t /
to learn – learnt – learnt
to send – sent – sent
to spend – spent – spent
6. Verbos cuyo participio pasado lleva el sufijo -(e)n:
·                  Añadido a la forma de Past Simple del verbo:
to break – broke – broken
to speak – spoke – spoken
to wake – woke – woken
to wear – wore – worn
·                  Añadido a la forma de infinitivo del verbo:
to draw – drew – drawn
to drive – drove – driven
to eat – ate – eaten
to give – gave – given
to know – knew – known
to see – saw – seen
to write – wrote – written
·                  Añadido a una forma diferente:
to fly – flew – clow

BANG BANG(NANCI SINATRA)
Precious things are for those that can prize them.
I  (be) five and he  (be) six
We  (ride) on horses made of sticks
He  (wear) black and I  (wear) white
He would always win the fight

Bang bang, he  (shoot) me down
Bang bang, I  (hit) the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby  (shoot) me down.

Seasons  (come) and changed the time
When I  (grow) up, I called him mine
He would always laugh and say
"Remember when we used to play?"

(refrain)

Music played, and people  (sing)
Just for me, the church bells  (ring).

Now he's gone, I don't know why
And till this day, sometimes I cry
He didn't even say goodbye
He didn't take the time to lie.

Impossible, de James Arthur

I remember years ago
Someone told me I should take
Caution when it comes to love
I did

And you were strong and I was not
My illusion, my mistake
I was careless, I forgot
I did

And now when all is done
There is nothing to say
You have gone and so effortlessly
You have won
You can go ahead tell them

Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line
All we had is gone now

Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open
Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible

Falling out of love is hard
Falling for betrayal is worst
Broken trust and broken hearts
I know, I know...
Thinking all you need is there
Building faith on love and words
Empty promises will wear
I know, I know...

And now when all is gone
There is nothing to say

And if you're done with embarrassing me
On your own you can go ahead tell them

Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the roof tops
Write it on the sky line
All we had is gone now

Tell them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open
Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible

Impossible, impossible
